Playbox is a dynamic, blockchain-enabled community platform powered by the NTU I&E (“The Organiser”) with the core mission of cultivating a vibrant community of forward-thinkers, fostering collaboration, co-creation, and continuous learning through a robust ecosystem where innovation thrives. Playbox employs a unique approach aimed at enhancing interaction, increasing stakeholder involvement, and instilling a sense of ownership in shaping NTU's future I&E landscape.
Playbox is exclusive to the NTU Community (“The Members”), comprised of current students, staff, and alumni. It adopts a gamified approach where members get to level up through the completion of missions. This gamification not only adds the fun element but also offers tangible benefits such as attractive perks and increased exposure to a myriad of innovation activities and programs facilitated internally and by an extensive range of Playbox’s partnering brands.
The objectives of Playbox is to enhance:
a. Collaboration: Open new I&E opportunities for collaboration and synergy within the NTU Community and with industry partners
b. Co-creation: Empowering individuals within the community by granting them voting rights and fostering a deeper sense of ownership, thereby incentivizing contributions of resources and knowledge.
c. Incentivisation: Offering a diverse range of rewards and incentives tailored to the interests of the target audience, including access to workshops, courses, exclusive perks, collectibles, and networking opportunities.
d. Learning: Promoting the development of an entrepreneurial mindset in a user-friendly manner, while educating the community about the safe and secure utilization of Web 3.0 technologies.

If you are an alumnus without an NTU email, visit here to obtain one.

After signing up, you’ll receive a verification email. If you don’t receive it within 30 minutes, check your Junk/Spam mail folder.
b. Tier-up system:
- All members will progress through the Playbox tier-up system.
- Participation in NTU I&E activities such as workshops, programme, skills development training, picking up funding opportunities will allow you to earn experience points and level up through the different tiers as indicated in the table below. Each tier will unlock different privileges and rewards. Watch this space for exciting updates on privileges!
